Goujon worked for the school district's information technology department. He was instructed to deliver forty iPads from Scott Elementary to Watson Elementary School.
The school never received them and its administrators called the police on Dec. 9. Soon after the call, police discovered that Goujon had allegedly pawned at least 3 of the missing iPads. He was arrested on Dec. 14.

Police also arrested his brother, Pierre Goujon, who was reportedly with him when he pawned the stolen iPads.
Gordon Goujon told police that someone named Eric picked up the iPads from him at the school in late October or early November. A few days later, he reportedly met Eric at a gas station and Eric gave him 3 of the stolen iPads. Goujon says he then panicked and sold the iPads.
