LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Police are investigating a homicide Tuesday afternoon.
Details are limited, but the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the incident happened at the 8900 blocks of W. Warm Springs Road.
According to Lt. Jason Johansson, officers received a report around 1 p.m. of a man who was shot inside of the apartment complex.

As officers arrived, they found the victim outside near a dumpster area. Johansson said it appeared he was getting ready to leave in his car when one to two people came up to him and shot him.
Police said the suspects then left the complex. They will release more information after they get details about the car and which direction they went after leaving the complex.
Johansson said this appears to be a targeted incident.
