According to the department, 41-year-old Alejandro Carlson climbed onto the aircraft as it was preparing for takeoff on Saturday. Officers took him into custody after he fell from the wing.

Carlson was transported to UMC Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, police say. He was booked in absentia for Disregard for Safety of Persons or Property and Trespassing.

The department went on to say that "at no time were passengers on board the plane in any danger" and the incident appears to be isolated.
