Around 9 p.m. on April 9 a person was shot at the Motel 6 on 5085 Dean Martin Drive.
Police confirm that a man was shot multiple times at the Motel 6 and transferred to a local hospital. He was later pronounced dead at UMC Trauma.

Homicide detectives determined the victim and another man were seen talking in the parking lot of the motel. A few minutes later, witnesses reported hearing gun shots. Arriving officers located the victim in a motel room suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooter fled the area prior to officers’ arrival. He is described as a black male adult 35-45 years old, long dreadlocks and wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
