FEB. 11 UPDATE: The Clark County Coroner has identified the decedent as 17-year-old Mekhi Clark from Las Vegas. His cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and it was ruled a homicide.

North Las Vegas Police detectives are investigating a homicide that took place at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officers were dispatched to North Davis Place, near Las Vegas Boulevard and Owens Avenue, after receiving a call about a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers say they located three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims, all men, are believed to be in their late 20s to early 30s.
Medical personnel arrived and transported the three men to University Medical Center.
Police say one man has since died. The other two men's conditions are unknown.
Police say the preliminary investigation revealed that two men approached a group of people and for unknown reasons began shooting at the group, striking the three of them.
This is still an active investigation.
Detectives say they do not believe this was a random act of violence.
