LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metro is investigating a homicide in the south valley at the 2200 block of Renaissance Drive.
LVMPD received a call around 1:30 p.m. from someone reporting a dead body in the washes.
Investigators arrived and located the body of an "unhoused" individual with stab wounds.
According to witnesses, the man experiencing homelessness had gotten into an argument with another man between the hours of 10 p.m. on Thursday and 3 a.m. on Friday morning.
One of the witnesses that police have spoken to appears to match the description of the man who argued with the victim. Police are not calling the witness a suspect in the investigation at this time.
Las Vegas Metro say this is an isolated incident.
