LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The man accused of breaking into McCarran International Airport and climbing onto the wing of a plane was in court today.
Attorneys say Alejandro Carlson will have to undergo a mental health evaluation.

investigators say Carlson ran across 2 active runways and climbed onto the plane right before takeoff.
He ended up falling from the wing as police were trying to detain him.
Carlson has been charged with trespassing and disregard for public safety.

He is set to be back in court on Jan. 12, 2021.
