A man was shot and robbed overnight in the parking lot of Palace Station on Sahara Avenue.
Police say that the man was parking his motorcycle when he was approached by three suspects. The victim gave up his cell phone, but was shot once during the robbery.
The suspects were last seen heading eastbound on Sahara in a white car.
The incident happened around 3 a.m.
According to representatives with Station Casinos, Palace Station has 24/7 security, and they are stationed at different locations throughout the property all night long.
"I think security should have been on top of that, but security is pretty tight here," says former employee, Mario Ganbon. "It's Sahara, this is a bad area."
The victim was rushed to surgery, and is in critical but stable condition.
