LATEST: The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Michael Demaret of LasVegas.
UPDATE: Las Vegas police released surveillance video associated with the shooting on Thursday afternoon.
Police say that the victim arrived at 7-Eleven with 2 other individuals on foot. While in the parking lot, the victim became involved in an argument with another man. The man pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The suspect was seen leaving the scene in a silver, newer, 4-door sedan, possibly a Mazda.
This is the 93rd homicide to be investigated by Las Vegas police this year.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A man is dead after being shot outside of a 7-Eleven near Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard on Thursday morning.
Witnesses say it happened around 2 a.m. They heard a fight taking place and then shots being fired.
The victim, who was shot multiple times, was taken to UMC Trauma where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released any information about the shooter.
The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased after relatives have been notified.
