Man shot, killed while working on vehicle in Las Vegas apartment complex parking lot

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A man was rushed to the hospital where he died after a shooting inside a Las Vegas apartment complex parking lot on Saturday night, police say.

Officers responded to reports of the shooting around 7:45 p.m. at Bonanza Garden Apartments near Bonanza Road and Eastern Avenue.

Police say they found a man suffering from multiple gunshots wounds. He was rushed to UMC Trauma where he died.

Investigators say the man was working on his vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex when he was approached by three other men.

There was an argument, police say, and one of the men who approached pulled out a handgun and fired several shots at the man killed.

His identity, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
