A man was shot in the chest Monday evening.
The shooting was reported around 6:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Durango Drive, near Peace Way.
The man was transported to UMC Trauma in unknown condition.
Just before 11 p.m., police reported a 47-year-old male suspect was taken into custody.
