LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A man arrested in connection to the death of a local woman has been indicted by a grand jury.
Jose Rangel's preliminary hearing was canceled today because he was indicted, but he still showed up in court.

His case now moves to Clark County District Court.
Jose was taken into custody weeks ago at the border in San Diego.
Police say he's the father of Lesly Palacio's suspected killer.
Palacio's body was found at Valley of Fire back in September.
On Monday night, Lesly's family reflected on the pain of losing her.

Detectives believe Erik Rangel-Ibarra may be hiding out in Mexico.
Lesly's family said they are not going to stop until they get justice.
An attorney representing Lesley's family says her cause of death is still unknown.
