Man arrested at Las Vegas protest for impersonating officer

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A man has been arrested for impersonating a federal officer during protests in the Las Vegas valley.

Investigators say Zachary Sanns wore tactical gear with patches similar to what a law enforcement officer would wear. He also reportedly had on night-vision goggles and other gear that is difficult to obtain by civilians.

Additonally, investigators say Sanns has tattoos related to the Nazis.

Sanns is due in court on June 19 and is facing a federal charge.
