A 51-year-old man was arrested in Mesquite after police said he shot at officers.

Mesquite resident Joseph Daut received minor injuries from a police K9 in the incident near Arrowhead Lane and Second South Street, off Mesquite Boulevard, that ended Thursday morning after starting Wednesday night.
Mesquite police said SWAT vehicles helped protect officers from gunfire. Las Vegas and North Las Vegas police officers also assisted.
