Las Vegas police are seeking two people for questioning in a deadly shooting earlier this month.
Around 11:50 p.m. June 9, a patrol officer was near the area of East Twain Avenue and Palos Verdes Street when he heard gunshots. The officer located a man down on the ground just south of that intersection suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man, later identified as 39-year-old Arlandus Jones, was transported to the Sunrise Trauma where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives discovered surveillance video that showed Jones walking across Palos Verdes Street and approaching a man and a woman who were standing in front of a power box. As Jones approached, the man shot him numerous times. Both the man and the woman fled the scene before officers arrived.
The man was described as a black male adult. The female was later identified as 25-year-old Angelica Ward and detectives are currently seeking her for questioning.
The video revealed that the male and Ward had been loitering near the power box, located on the west side of Palos Verdes Street just south of Twain Avenue, for nearly 45 minutes before the shooting. Police released surveillance footage.
