The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a man accused of lewd conduct at gas stations on the west side of the valley.

On July 6, detectives with the LVMPD Sexual Assault Section were investigating a report of lewd conduct that had occurred the evening before at a gas station near the intersection of South Jones Boulevard and West Sahara Avenue.

The investigation indicated the victim had been in the parking lot the evening of July 5 around 8:50 p.m. and was cleaning out a vehicle while pumping gas. The victim was grabbed from behind and was inappropriately touched by a man. The victim was able to get away and leave the area.

During the course of the investigation, detectives discovered several additional victims who described the same suspect and crimes over the course of several days in the first week of July. These additional incidents occurred at gas stations located at the intersections of West Spring Mountain Road and South Decatur Boulevard and West Desert Inn Road and South Decatur Boulevard. Information was also obtained that indicated there was a possibility of other events that occurred but were not reported to police.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, standing between 5’9” and 6’2” tall, had an average build and short hair. The suspect was last seen driving a 2008 to 2010 slate gray or blue Cadillac Escalade with dark tinted windows, a sunroof, chrome rims and chrome trim on the door handles.

Anyone who believes they may have been a victim of this suspect, or anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.

Police also released a surveillance video of the suspect.
