LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police were able to rescue 3 cute English Bulldog puppies after they were stolen Monday morning.

A photo of the puppies in the back seat of a patrol car was shared by the Northeast Area Command.

Police say that the armed robbery happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of Cherry Grove Avenue near North Hollywood Boulevard and East Owens Avenue.

Police say that the two suspects, 23-year-old Chey Rose and 24-year-old Lawrence Warfield, were posing as potential buyers for a puppy. Once there, they pulled out a gun and proceeded to steal the three puppies. They also battered the owner.

Police spotted the suspects in a vehicle near Lake Mead and Nellis boulevards. The suspects attempted to run away but police were able to capture them.

Warfield and Rose are facing several charges, including robbery with deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery. Bail was set at $70,000 for Warfield and $72,000 for Rose.
