ShotSpotter technology leads Las Vegas police to deadly shooting near I-15, Washington

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Police in Las Vegas are investigating a homicide near Washington Avenue and the Interstate 15 after ShotSpotter detected gunfire in the area shortly around 3 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived on the scene they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

His death will be released by the coroner's office.

For much of the morning, H Street was closed from Bonanza Road to McWilliams Avenue as officers investigated.
