UPDATE AUG. 19: The Clark County coroner has identified the victim as 58-year-old Jeffrey Kay Boyajian from Lake Elsinore, California. Cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and his death was ruled a homicide.
UPDATE AUG. 8: Las Vegas police have released video of the white van they believe is involved with a deadly shooting on the I-15 earlier this week.

UPDATE 10:55 P.M. Las Vegas police say a deadly shooting on Interstate 15 Monday night may be related to road rage and they are asking for the public's help in the investigation.
A man and a woman were driving in a Chrysler 300 heading northbound on the I-15 near Blue Diamond around 7:30 p.m. Police say an unknown white van pulled alongside the Chrysler and fired multiple rounds into the driver side door of the car, hitting and killing the driver -- a man in his 50s.

Police say the van may have been tailgating the Chrysler just before the shooting, but the information they have is preliminary and the shooting remains under investigation.
Investigators believe there were two occupants in the white van but say they have very limited details at this time.
Anyone with dashcam or GoPro type video who was on the I-15 between Silverado Ranch and Blue Diamond around the time of the shooting is asked to contact authorities.

UPDATE 10:33 P.M. Las Vegas police are set to update the media at 10:45 p.m. on a deadly shooting that happened Monday night on the I-15 south.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on the I-15 just south of Blue Diamond, authorities say.
According to police an occupant of a 4-door vehicle was shot by an unknown occupant of a van. That person was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.

The suspect vehicle, a white van, was last seen northbound on I-15 and is still outstanding.
No word yet on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
