Las Vegas police identify man accused of stealing vehicle from auto shop

Las Vegas police have identified the man accused of stealing a vehicle from a local auto shop and then crashing into multiple vehicles Thursday afternoon. 

Police said Khiare Taylor took a vehicle from a Meineke in the 800 block of North Nellis Boulevard, near Bonanza Road, after allegedly taking the car keys from a clipboard. A GPS tracking company located the stolen vehicle and advised police of the location.

Police said after stealing the vehicle, Taylor then crashed into three vehicles and the stolen vehicle rolled over in the 700 block of North Rancho Drive, near Bonanza Road. 

One person was injured in the crash, reported around 2:15 p.m. It is unknown who was injured.
