Las Vegas police asking for help to solve April murder, offer $5K reward

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are asking for help and offering a $5,000 reward to help solve the murder of 36-year-old Jamie Arnold.

Police say that Arnold was shot around 5:49 a.m. April 7 in the parking lot of Shelter Island Apartments on Swenson Street.

Arnold was walking home from a nearby 7-Eleven when he was shot.

The suspect is a black male in his 20s.

Arnold died from his injuries a few days later of April 11.

A reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of his killer.

The police will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. Aug. 20 at Shelter Island.
