Las Vegas Deputy City Marshals asking for help in golf course thefts

The Las Vegas Deputy City Marshals are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with the theft of golf clubs from the Las Vegas Golf Club, 4300 W. Washington Ave.

Two separate thefts occurred between Sept. 3 and Oct. 13 when a suspect took clubs worth more than $9,000 from the clubhouse area of the facility. The thief picked up the golf bags and walked to the parking lot where he got into a black, new model Acura or Infiniti SUV.

The thief is described as a white male between 40- and 50-years-old and was seen walking with a noticeable limp. Anyone who can identify this suspect is asked to contact the city of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety at 702-229-3223.

The city’s Department of Public Safety provides the public with law enforcement services at city parks, golf courses and facilities through the Deputy City Marshals, operates the city’s detention center and provides animal control services in the city of Las Vegas.
