UPDATE: Federal prosecutors have filed gun charges against Rick Van Thiel.
Guns and ammunition were found in his home during the search in late September. Van Thiel is a convicted felon for attempted robbery and attempted battery and is prohibited from having firearms in his possession.
According to court documents, Van Thiel received one of the guns as payment for performing a circumcision on a man.

Meanwhile, Van Thiel's attorney said his health is a cause for concern and is asking a doctor to tend to his rare skin condition. The last time Van Thiel was in court, he said he wouldn't live until December.
