Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting near Maryland Parkway and Reno Avenue.
Police say that a homeless man was shot in the throat and possibly the face.
He has been transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A nearby homeless camp is being searched but police have not released any information about the shooter.
