UPDATE: Coroner identifies bodies from Henderson murder-suicide

UPDATE FEB. 18: The Clark County Coroner has identified the female as 25-year-old Whitney Nicole Chareun from Henderson. Her death was due to a gunshot wound to the head and was ruled a homicide. The male was identified as 29-year-old Nhan Ngoc Truong from Henderson. His cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and his was ruled a suicide.

UPDATE FEB. 17: Henderson police have released a few more details about the apparent murder-suicide on Tuesday night.

Arriving officers at the residence on Sunridge Heights Parkway in Henderson, they found a 25-year-old female and 29-year-old male inside the home deceased. They also discovered a 2-year-old child, a 14-month-old baby and 2 dogs inside the residence.

The Clark County coroner will release the names after notification has been made.

This is the third homicide for Henderson in 2021. No other details are being released at this time.

Henderson Police Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide on Sunridge Heights Parkway near Seven Hills Drive and St. Rose Parkway.

Police visited a home on Sunridge Heights around 6 p.m. Tuesday for a welfare check, the department says.

Officers found a 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man dead at the scene.

No other details were immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing.
