LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Jasmin Vargas, the woman accused by police of shooting her 3-year-old son while showing off a gun, was due to have her preliminary hearing in Las Vegas Justice Court on Tuesday.
The preliminary hearing was moved to March 2 at 10 a.m.

The judge ruled that her bail stands at $80,000 with the following stipulations, "Stay out of trouble. No weapons; Defendant to comply with any and all directives from Child Protective Services; No contact with any minors unless approved by Child Protective Services with supervision."
She must also have electronic monitoring if she is released.

Vargas allegedly told police she didn't know the gun was loaded when she pointed it in the direction of two kids and pulled the trigger in December 2020, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
