Around 11 p.m. on Feb. 1, a clerk was shot multiple times in the parking lot of a Neighborhood Market Walmart on Charleston and Lamb boulevards.
Witnesses say that the shooting occurred when an argument between the clerk and a man that frequented the grocery store broke out in the parking lot.
During the argument, things escalated and that is when the clerk was shot. An employee ran into the store for help and that's when another employee ran out of the store and wrestled the gunman to the ground.
During the scuffle, the gunman was shot in the leg.
Both the clerk and the gunman were eventually transported to the hospital.
