An elderly woman was sexually assaulted on February 4 in the area of South Nellis Boulevard and East Hacienda Avenue.
Police say it happened around 10:10 p.m. in a nearby residential neighborhood. The 71-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified man as she was bringing in her garbage cans. The man forced her into the garage and sexually assaulted her.
Las Vegas police were notified of the assault on Feb. 9.
Officials describe the man as a Hispanic male adult, 6 feet tall, with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a stocking covering his face.
