The Mohave County Sheriff's office received a call around 6:20 a.m. Sunday from a woman who had found what appeared to be a skull on her property in Mohave Valley.
MCSO officials say that the woman's dog brought the remains onto her property after it had been off the property the night before.
Detectives and Search and Rescue responded to the scene in the 3100 block of Courtwright Road, near Ranchero Lane, and searched the surrounding area.
