A man who is a suspect in several sex offenses cases in Colorado has been apprehended in Las Vegas.
Robert Thomas, 60, was wanted in Colorado by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. He was arrested on Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
He was arrested in the vicinity of West Charleston Boulevard and Arville Street.
Thomas was arrested on a warrant issued for indecent exposure.
Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock stated “This is another example of fine police work done by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the US Marshals Service and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It’s a great feeling to know that a person who commits acts against children is off the streets and is behind bars”.
