LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Bail has been set for the truck driver accused of killing 5 bicyclists on Dec. 10 near Boulder City.
Authorities say that 45-year-old Jordan Barson was high on methamphetamine when he plowed into the group of bicyclist.

Bail was set at $750,000 on Thursday by a Las Vegas judge.
If Barson is released, he will have to submit to random urinalysis, be subject to electronic monitoring and will not be allowed to drive.
Barson allegedly had 9 times the amount of meth in his system to be legally impaired at the time of the crash on U.S. Highway 95.

Barson is facing 5 counts of DUI resulting in death, 2 counts of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm and 7 counts of reckless driving.
