A North Las Vegas woman arrested for dropping a 5-month-old child on a tile floor in February has been indicted by a grand jury.
The boy, whom she was babysitting, died two days later.
Police said at the time that Cynthia Lavender had a history of abuse with the child. Lavender reportedly told police that she had thrown the child against a wall the month before.

Lavender was indicted on one count of murder and four counts of child abuse, neglect or endangerment with substantial bodily harm.
She is currently in custody at the Clark County Detention Center.
