LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A counselor assigned to Arbor View High School is accused of touching a girl's breasts while giving her hugs and telling her he thought about having sex with her often, according to an arrest report released by Las Vegas police.
William Sterling Peterson was arrested on July 27 and charged with two counts of lewdness with a child under 14.

Arbor View High School sent a letter informing parents and guardians of the arrest one day later, which said the incident "does not appear to involve contact with students at the school."
It is unclear at this time what his current employment status is with the school district.
According to the report, police say there were two separate incidents when Peterson touched the girl's breasts intentionally while giving her hugs, and one conversation where he asked her why she didn't want to have sex with him.
The alleged conversation happened after she told Peterson about getting in trouble for messaging people in an online game called Roblox, the report shows. The girl told police that someone, whose name has been redacted, scolded her for messaging strangers in the game.
She says she told Peterson about the incident, saying, "They could be 50-year-old men waiting to rape me."
The report goes on to say Peterson told her, "If I [minor] ever wanted to have sex, why wouldn't it be with him?" and that he thought about having sex with her "a lot."

She told police she said to him, "I'm probably not going to get raped."
According to the arrest report, Peterson responded by saying, "No, you will get raped!" and allegedly told her it was dangerous to talk to strangers on the internet. After the conversation, the girl said he went to hug her and touched her breasts.
Peterson remains behind bars at Clark County Detention Center and is being held on $3,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 15.
