A 31-year-old man is dead following a late Saturday night shooting in North Las Vegas.
Around 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard, near Pecos Road, regarding a shooting. Officers found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition. The victim died Sunday morning.
The preliminary investigation indicates there was an argument in the parking lot of a business that escalated into gunfire, North Las Vegas police reported.
The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to police arrival and there is no one in custody at this time.
