3 people arrested for double homicide in Chloride, Arizona

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office says that they found the bodies of 57-year-old Bryan Dean Drake and 61-year-old Robin Rae Hammontree in a Chloride home on Monday.

The suspects have been identified as Dustyn Wade Walsh, 19, Johnny Ford Parsons, 20, and Tyler Susanne Reed, 19, all of Golden Valley, Arizona.

The investigation revealed that Walsh, Parsons and Reed had gone to the victim’s residence to confront Drake in reference allegations from several years prior. The confrontation became physical, resulting in the death of Drake and Hammontree. Walsh, Parsons, and Reed also ransacked the residence and stole several items within the residence, as well as the victim’s vehicle, which was later located abandoned.

All three suspects have admitted their involvement in this incident.

The charges are as follows:

Dustyn Wade Walsh was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder.

Johnny Ford Parsons was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder, Burglary in the 1st Degree and Hindering Prosecution. Tyler

Susanne Reed was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder, Burglary in the 1st Degree and Hindering Prosecution.

The investigaiton is ongoing and the official causes of death are pending autopsies by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Chloride is about an hour and a half from Las Vegas.
