HENDERSON (KTNV) — Two young men have been arrested for a shooting death in Henderson.
The shooting happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8 near Kentwood Peak Avenue and Wagner Valley Street in Henderson.
Henderson police found an adult male with a gunshot wound in the area. He died in a local hospital on Jan. 12.
18-year-old Brian Vergara and 19-year-old Eduardo Rosario were arrested on Jan. 10. A preliminary investigation revealed the shooting was possibly drug related and the victim attempted to "drug rip" the 2 males who met him to sell him drugs.
Rosario was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on one count of Battery with a Deadly Weapon Substantial Bodily Harm and one count of Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule I/II.
Vergara was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on one count of Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule I/II.
