LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police have arrested 2 teenagers for a deadly shooting on West Mesa Vista Avenue, near Hacienda Avenue and Buffalo Drive, on Nov. 22.
Police say that a 15-year-old teenager met with the victim for a narcotics transaction.
At some point during the exchange, the teenager and victim both pulled out handguns. The teenager fired several rounds striking the victim and fled in a black sedan driven by a second juvenile suspect.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives located and arrested both teens for one count of Open Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Because of their age, the teenagers have not been identified at this time. If they are certified as adults, their names and mug shots will be released.
The identification of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
