The shooting was reported around 6:10 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive, near Smoke Ranch Road. Police found two men in the apartment complex parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. One was inside a vehicle; the other was lying on the ground next to the vehicle.
Both men were transported to University Medical Center, where they were pronounced deceased. The Clark County coroner identified them as 28-year-old Charles Edward Warren and 24-year-old Deante Dixon. Their cities of residence are unknown.
An investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed that the two victims were seated in the vehicle when multiple gunshots were heard. At least two suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived.
