A person was shot in the head overnight during a robbery.
It was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Police say that the victim was approached by a group in the 2500 block of Van Patten Street near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.
One of the individuals robbed the victim and then shot the victim in the head.
The victim was transported to UMC Trauma in serious condition but is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made at this time.
