Crews respond to vacant building fire in downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Firefighters are investigating a fire in the attic of a vacant, boarded-up building in downtown Las Vegas.

The city's fire department says crews responded to 912 Bridger Avenue, between 9th and 10th streets, shortly before 9 p.m.

The fire has been knocked down but as of 9:30 p.m. crews remained on the scene checking for any extensions.

No injuries to report. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, authorities say.
