The final steel beam was placed on the frame for Park Theater Tuesday. The hope is to have it open by the end of year. When it's all said and done, it will house 5,000 seats and bring in big names for residencies, but this is just one piece of the puzzle.

MGM is also building a park, adding restaurants, and putting the finishing touches on T-Mobile Arena right now. The hope is, this area will attract more people and more business to Las Vegas.
"There are some great amenities on the strip but there are some areas also that aren't quiet so nice....and one of the things that we really wanted to do was to really invest as a company in creating a space where people can feel comfortable. Where they can feel safe. Where they have basically a variety of amenities and things to do," said Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer David Tsai.
The park around the theater will be opening on Monday and then T-Mobile Arena will open April 6.
