LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An RV was destroyed and at least two homes and another vehicle were damaged Monday morning during a fire in Las Vegas.
Crews responded to the fire on Stanford Street, near Washington Avenue and Decatur Boulevard, shortly before 6:30 a.m.
Authorities say the fire is believed to have started due to "careless smoking." The occupant told firefighters that a pile of clothing on the floor caught on fire in the RV and then spread.
Neighbors say several people lived in the RV that was destroyed.
There are no injuries to report.
The fire remains under investigation.
John Mendiola sent me this video of the RV fire near Washington/Decatur. He sprayed the nearby house (which didn't appear to have damage) with a hose. The RV was destroyed and at least two homes + another vehicle damaged. @KTNV pic.twitter.com/3ZPdIhpyme
