LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — While the 10 nights of the National Finals Rodeo are set aside for rodeo, the days are for Cowboy Christmas and the other western themed shows sprinkled around town where fans can find pretty much anything a cowboy might need.
"It is cowboy central," ViMoldenhauersaid from her booth.
Moldenhauerand her husband Hal have been coming to Las Vegas for Cowboy Christmas for 23 years with their business,Stitchin' Horse Ranch.
The couple's booth this year was mixed in with hundreds of booths selling western wear, jewelry, lasso, saddles, and horse trailers.
One customer who was buying a new cowboy hat said if you can't find it at Cowboy Christmas, you probably don't need it.
That's because some of those horse trailers mentioned earlier included mini apartments built inside so cowboys and their horses can relax together on the road.
Besides all the booths were displays designed to teach the youngest cowboys and cowgirls how to rope, ride and hogtie all in hopes of building the next generation of rodeo champions.
