LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- It may soon cost more to park your car at McCarran Airport.
On Tuesday, Clark County commissioners will discuss raising prices.
If passed, long term parking could go up from $16 a day to $18 a day, while economy parking would increase from $10 to $12. Valet parking could increase from $23 to $30.
The Department of Aviation is pushing commissioners to raise prices due to an increase in travelers. It says the fees are used for operating cost and capital improvements.
Fees at the airport have not gone up since 2013.
A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Clark County Government Center.
The Clark County Government Center is located on 500 S Grand Central Parkway.
