LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County Commission is taking the next steps to rename McCarran International Airport
Tuesday, county commissioners are scheduled to act on a resolution that’s to be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration, according to the agenda.
This renaming request will be for the airport's name to be changed to Harry Reid Las Vegas International Airport or an alternative name.
The original proposal was made by Governor-elect, County Commissioner, Steve Sisolak.
