LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Starting this week, the COVID-19 testing site at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center will adjust its hours of operation and offer testing on Sundays and Mondays to make testing available seven days a week between the UNLV site and the Las Vegas Cashman Center site.
Clark County, UMC and other partners operate the two community-based testing sites five days a week.
Changing from its previous Tuesday through Saturday schedule, the UNLV site will be available Sunday through Thursday starting this weekend. The UNLV site, which is located in the Pavilion Room on the northwest side of Thomas & Mack Center on the second floor off Tropicana Avenue and University Drive, will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Cashman Center site is located in Exhibit Hall A, 850 N. Las Vegas Boulevard on the north side of the facility off Washington Avenue. They will continue operating Tuesdays through Saturdays and will be closed Sundays and Mondays.
Hours of operation at both sites will continue to be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The new schedule of operations for the UNLV and Cashman sites has been updated on the COVID-19 testing site calendar posted on the Southern Nevada Health District’s website.
Appointments for the Cashman Center and UNLV sites can be self-scheduled through UMC’s website.
