LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Nevada COVID-19 task force and Nevada Hospital Association are reporting a “significant resurgence” in COVID-19 hospitalizations.
According to their latest report, the hospital case count is 891 (754 confirmed and 137 suspected). This is the highest recorded number of hospitalizations since mid-August.

Additionally, the task forces says that 10 Nevada counties have now been flagged for elevated transmission of COVID-19, including Washoe, Lyon, Clark, Elko, Lincoln, Carson City, Nye, Douglas, Churchill, Eureka.
The COVID-19 Mitigation and Management Task Force will hear action plans at the next meeting this Thursday from the following counties: Carson City, Clark, Elko, Humboldt, Lincoln, Lyon, Nye and Washoe.
The test positivity rate over the last 14 days is 13.5%. As of today, Nevada has logged 110,982 cases, an increase of 960 new cases since yesterday.
