NEVADA (KTNV) — A Reno woman is mourning the loss of her husband after he passed away over the weekend due to COVID-19.
Alana Mcallister says her husband Bruce had symptoms that began with a cough and fever on March 20.
The 47-year-old had just returned from visiting New York.
However, Bruce Mcallister died five days after being admitted to the hospital.

Alana Mcallister also tested positive for the virus, but she said she and her son remain in quarantine.
Bruce Mcallister had an underlying health condition, according to Alana Mcallister.
