LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — More information is coming out about the Clark County School District data incident in August.
The district says it was a victim of a ransomware attack where a virus blocked access to certain files.

District administrators say police and 3rd party investigators were called to find out what happened and to secure the network.

The investigation is ongoing.
CCSD has been unable to determine if sensitive information including names and social security numbers were accessed.
