LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On Monday afternoon, Gov. Steve Sisolak announced larger venues in Nevada with a capacity of 4,000 or more can amend the mask requirements for those who are fully and partially vaccinated.

This option will require proof of vaccination for all attendees: fully vaccinated attendees will be able to go maskless, partially vaccinated will have to wear a mask, and those who are unvaccinated will not be able to enter the venue.

Sisolak said event operators who choose this option "must implement a method of verifying vaccination status that is accurate, effective and reliable. Staff must be sufficient in number and adequately trained to implement the system."

If a venue does not want to implement a vaccine requirement they can stay at the current guidance which mandates all attendees wear a mask while not actively eating or drinking.
